Standard Delivery Services

Free shipping across the US!

As part of our strive in making great design accessible, we never charge for shipping within the US (within the lower 48 US states).

Small Parcels and Normal Parcels 

Hem most commonly uses FedEx Ground as the standard delivery service for parcel shipments. If you select "Signature required" at checkout, FedEx will obtain a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, or someone at a neighboring address; or you can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing the release of the package without anyone present. If you happen to not be at home at the time of delivery, the delivery service will re-attempt the delivery. After 3 failed attempts to deliver the parcels will be returned to our warehouse. In such a case, you need to contact us to arrange a re-delivery. An extra delivery cost will occur of $15 per parcel.

Freight

Hem most commonly uses FedEx Freight and standard curbside delivery.
Curbside delivery means that the courier will deliver your item(s) to the curb of your specified delivery address. This service does not include removal of packaging, assembly or setup of your item(s).
 
Our delivery partner will contact you before the delivery to propose a delivery date and time frame with an option to reschedule this if the time is inconvenient. If you happen to not be at home at the agreed time of delivery, your item will be returned to the warehouse. In that case, you need to contact us to arrange a re-delivery. An extra delivery cost will occur.

Inside delivery above or below ground floor +$200

(Please note that a freight elevator must be available. Inside delivery does not include white glove assembly.)

Cancellation & Return policy

If you just placed your order and want to cancel it, we are here to help. We can cancel your order and give you a full refund as long as your order has not left the warehouse yet. Please reach out to us immediately on info@hem.com to cancel your order.
 
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from Hem. Once you have received your delivery, please inspect the product(s) and inform us within 5 days of delivery if anything is missing or has been damaged in transit. We will refund or replace any item that arrives damaged. The original box for the product needs to be saved to be able to claim the product. Please contact our customer team for more info on how to proceed at info@hem.com
 
If you are not happy with your item, you may return your non-damaged and unused Hem purchase in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt. The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with returning a non-damaged item. Please contact our customer team for more info on how to proceed at info@hem.com

If your order has been returned to the warehouse due to failed delivery attempts and you want to cancel the order, you will be refunded the full order value minus costs for returning the product do the warehouse. Standard extra cost is $15 per parcel
