Sometimes simplicity is best. Designer Jonah Takagi has reduced the humble coat hook to its most basic elements and produced a design that is beautiful in its purity and modesty. Ash, oak, or walnut are turned and varnished, and a clever aluminum mechanism is hidden inside for easy attachment to the wall via a single screw. The Peg Hook is a functional hero, reminiscent of Shaker objects and other utilitarian designs, made to do its job without fuss or noise.
