The Stripe Tray is made using a traditional technique in Southern Sweden, where layers of birch veneer and a printed paper motif are molded together using heat and pressure. A laminated melamine surface means that the Stripe Tray is as resilient as it is attractive. Born and raised in Vienna, designer Arthur Arbesser creates work that is strongly influenced by the city’s history and culture. In 2013, Arbesser has launched his own womenswear label, which he describes as sophisticated yet bursting with energy.
