At Hem, design and durability go hand in hand: for us, high quality design doesn’t only look and work well — it should last for generations. We visited our factory in Latvia to give you a closer look into the production process of the Touchwood and Udon chairs. For this year’s Milan Design Week, Hem created a unique space to welcome design enthusiasts from around the globe. From this special platform, we unveiled a range of new 2019 designs, including the impressive Max Table by Max Lamb and the Kendo Chair Family by LucidiPevere as well as our very first decorative accessory collection by “Supergroup” John Booth and Ian McIntyre.
In conjunction with Salone del Mobile 2019, Hem will unveil a handful of news in a bespoke Gallery & Garden space, among them the latest collaboration with Max Lamb and the preview of the new Kendo Chair Family by Lucidi Pevere.
Here at Hem, we love seeing our products in new environments. We’re excited to share a special project that features Hem items— the first brick and mortar location of Freeland Spirits, one of the few women-led distilleries in history.
We are thrilled to announce that Hem has opened its first permanent US showroom! Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, our new industrial space is shared with Madera, an independent design brand that provides curated hardwood selections to the architecture and design community.
