Intended to simply lean against a wall, the ladder-like Verso Shelf arrives in just two parts and can be assembled in a matter of minutes. Designed by Mikko Halonen to be especially versatile, it can display books, arrange magazines, tidy clothes, and much more. This especially mobile shelf can be repositioned and repurposed over and over. The Verso Magazine Stand fits neatly onto the Verso shelf and adds even more function, providing a platform on which users can keep books, display art and cherished belongings, or simply keep a toothbrush or keys handy.

After studying Furniture Design at the Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Art in Helsinki, Mikko Halonen made his foray into design industry by becoming the finalist of International Furniture Design Competition in Japan. Approaching his work from both ecological and aesthetic perspective, his pieces are often minimalist yet challenge our preconceptions of furniture.
